    Hallo,

    weiß jemand wie, bzw. ob ich einem hostednetwork einen Namen (nicht die SSID, sondern praktisch sowas wie fritz.box) geben kann?

    Die Standard-IP ist des PCs der das hostednetwork aufbaut ist wohl
    immer 192.168.137.1, aber ich möchte diesen PC immer durch einen Namen
    erreichen können.

    Wäre nett wenn jemand Rat weiß.

    Klappt leider nicht, würde den gerne über ein Android Handy aufrufen.

    - hostednetwork aufgesetzt
    - android handy per wlan mit dem Computer verbunden
    - Computer in webbrowser des Handys über IP erreichbar
    - nur nicht über den Computernamen (vermutlich weil Android das anders handhabt)

    Habe auch schon mit den Hostdateien gespielt und den Computer versucht als DNS-Server einzustellen (auf Handy), damit das Handy erkennt aha da bekomme ich meine DNS Infos her.

    Das Problem ist nur, dass Android wohl standardmäßig die Google DNS Server nimmt. Würde ja bedeutet ich müsste jedes Handy erst konfigurieren, wäre aber entgegen dem Zweck:
    - Person verbindet sich mit dem hostednetwork
    - gibt adresse "meine.adresse" z.B. ein
    - kommt auf die wie soll ichs nennen Root Seite (meine.adresse:80)
    ..

    Oder kommt das ggf. nur zustande, weil er auf dem Gerät kein DNS Service laufen sieht? Ich habe schon nach DNS Server-Programmen gesucht, wollte aber eigentlich nur mit WIndows-Bordmitteln arbeiten.
    Gibt es einen DNS-Server Dienst unter Windows, also vorinstalliert?

    Dann musst du den DHCP Server so konfigurieren das er den Clients mitteilt wo der DNS Server zu finden ist.
    Brauche ich dafür sowas hier, oder gibts das auch vorinstalliert durchs Windows OS.

    Part 1 wäre ja zu sagen:
    Hier ist der DHCP Server, damit der den Clients (wie du oben schon sagst) mitteilt: "Hier findest du deine DNS Einträge".

    Part 2 wäre:
    "Okay, dass hier sind deine DNS Einträge"
    Wo muss ich die hinterlegen? Schaut Windoof dann dafür in die Hosts Datei? Oder muss ich dafür den von dir bereits erwähnten DNS-Service haben? Gibt es Diesen auch schon vorinstalliert?

    PS: Diese Seite hier habe ich gefunden, leider finde ich dazugehörigen Einstellungen bzw. die Maske nirgendwo.

    Du brauchst einen DHCP Server um die Informationen (IP-Adresse, Gateway, DNS Server, etc.) zu verteilen, zusätzlich brauchst du einen DNS Server der auf Anfragen der Clients entsprechend antwortet.
    Das hat rein garnichts mit der Hosts Datei zu tun.

    Die DNS Records musst du in der Konfiguration der Software hinterlegen, das ist abhängig davon welchen DNS Server du benutzt (Comparison of DNS server software - Feature matrix).

    Hast du bei deinem letzten Link mal geschaut für welches Produkt die Beschreibung ist? Virtual Server 2005


    Edit: Wenn Windows so doof ist (Quote: Windoof), warum benutzt du es dann?
    Versuche es aktuell mit dem DualServer von hier (Anleitung), leider scheitert es bisher scheinbar an der Konfiguration, da selbiges Problem:

    @Popa21 Ich habe den Abschnitt oben bei Aliases so eingefügt, also so wies bei den anderen Sachen auch vorgegeben ist (mit Zeilenumbruch).

    @slice Wie kann ich das nachprüfen? Auf meinem Android Handy auf statisch stellen und dann bei DNS Server gucken?
