    Visual Studio 2013 für Windows auf Win7

    Hi Leuz!

    Hab grad folgendes Problem: Hab mir hier eine vs 2013 Version auf Chip.de gesucht, da mein vs 2013 für Desktop, nur C#, VB und C++ kann, ich aber bei nem Kumpel(der Win8 hat) ihm des VS2013 für Windows installiert hab und ich das jetz auch haben will.

    Jetz is aber folgendes Problem: Ich kann "Visual Studio 2013 für Windows" auf meinem Windows 7 Professional x64 SP1 Rechner nicht installieren. Kommt Fehlermeldung, dass eine neuere Version von Windoof nötig sei. Hab den Fehler gegoogelt und bin dann auf Stackoverflow.com gestoßen.

    So wie ich den Post verstehe, kann ich auf Windows 7 kein VS2013 für Windows installieren oder gibt es da ne Möglichkeit?

    PS: Ich will NICHT auf Windows 8 umsteigen (also wenns ned geht, dann gehts halt ned :( )

    In general (across programming languages), a pointer is a number that represents a physical location in memory. A nullpointer is (almost always) one that points to 0, and is widely recognized as "not pointing to anything".     Ja ich wusste, nicht dass das 2 verschiedene Versionen sind, dachte mir schoon, warum zum Geier kann ich mit der "VS2013 für Windows" keine stinknormalen GUI/Consolenprogramme schreiben :D

    Dann musst du VisualStudio Express für Windows Desktop oder Community verwenden. Community bietet sämtliche Features, die Ultimate auch bietet, jedoch mit der Einschränkung, dass du maximal 1 Mio $ Gewinn damit machen darfst. Diese Einschränkung hat Express nicht, dafür hat es deutlich weniger Features. Man muss aber auch einfach mal bedenken: Wenn man die erste Million schon hat, kann man auch die 16000 für Ultimate ausgeben...
