Im neuen Windows 8 Pro wurde der DVD-Support gestrichen, um Lizenzkosten einzusparen. Nutzer, die am PC DVDs anschauen möchten, müssen sich beispielsweise mit dem VLC Media Player behelfen. Sie können aber auch von einer zeitlich limitierten Microsoft-Aktion profitieren. In dessen Rahmen verschenkt der Software-Gigant das sonst kostenpflichtige Media Center Pack.

Ist es nicht möglich sich am W7 Media Center zu bedienen ? (( C:\Windows\ehome ))

Jo, das hab ich kostenlos erworben. Es wäre halt schon gewesen ich könnte unter Windows 8 mit VB2010 meiner Anwendung die DVD-Funktion hinzufügen. Echt Microdoof.

Muss ich wohl wieder auf Micro$oft Windows 7 umsteigen.

Du brauchst nicht auf Windows 7 downgraden das hat nich viel Sinn, denn Windows 8 ist echt gut. Du musst dir halt nur ein anderes Control zum Abspielen besorgen. Ich weiß nicht ob es das gibt aber du kannst ja mal nach einem VLC Control gucken.
